Beach Cleanup – Residents’ Beach

Naples International Film Festival's opening night, featuring the film "The Phantom of the Opera" starring actors Mark Rylance and Sally Hawkins.

This Event will also include a Red Carpet Gala with live entertainment and a screening of the film at Artis—Naples.

The festival aims to showcase a diverse range of international films and celebrate the art of cinema.

Tickets are available for purchase for the opening night event, which will kick off the five-day festival.

The Marco Island Fire Rescue Foundation is hosting the annual chili cook-off event that aims to raise funds for the local fire department on NOVEMBER 1st, 2025 at CJ's on the Bay in Esplanade on Marco Island.

The event features a cooking competition where participants can showcase their best chili recipes.

The foundation's mission is to support the firefighters and emergency medical services in the community by providing financial assistance for necessary equipment and training.

Visitors can find more details about the cook-off, sponsorship opportunities, and how to get involved in supporting the foundation's important work.

📄 Details: Not-so-scary event with trick or treating, pumpkin pickings, yard games, and a family movie. (Good option if you're up for a short drive or have family to visit in the area and want a fun, kid-friendly event.)

Marco Island Halloween Spooktacular

Chick-fil-A is set to open a major new restaurant in a key spot near Collier Boulevard and City Gate Drive.

The 5,663-square-foot building is tailored for high-volume demand, offering dual drive-thru lanes that fit up to 43 vehicles and 70 parking spaces.

Guests will find seating for 132 diners, with 100 seats indoors and another 32 on the patio.

Direct access from White Lake Boulevard and City Gate Drive positions this location to serve heavy regional traffic, including travelers on I-75 and crowds visiting Paradise Coast Sports Complex, Great Wolf Lodge, and the nearby Uline distribution center.

The project aims to meet growing demand in a rapidly developing commercial corridor.

Communities to use this site in Naples are undefined at this time, but it seems like it will be an upscale community, private club.

Marco Island police receive life-saving anti-choking devices for their fleet

• The Cassata Foundation, together with LifeVac founder Arthur Lih, donated anti-choking devices (LifeVac units) to Marco Island’s Police Department. These devices will now be installed in all patrol cars and marine units, and also at public city facilities. 

• 🛡️ Why It Matters: Choking is a leading cause of accidental death. Having these devices widely available drastically increases the chance that officers or bystanders can act immediately in a choking emergency, potentially saving lives. It’s a proactive move that strengthens the community’s safety net.
